Well it turns out we have convinced the rental people that the motor home they gave us was a piece of junk and we have a replacement.  What a dream to drive in comparison.
To do this we needed to return to Melbourne.
We then headed to Canberra - the capital of Australia - here is the House of Representatives

and the coat of arms on the front of the Parliament Buildings

The next day we traveled to Sydney and went over the Harbour Bridge

We are staying in Narrabeen and took the Manly Ferry this morning to see the Circular Quay -

 the Sydney Opera House

 and to walk the Harbour bridge

We had a great tour of the Opera House and got some great photos
